Joe qualified in Sports Massage in 2017 from St Mary’s University as part of his Sport Rehabilitation degree. Since then, Joe has worked in elite sport at the London Irish Rugby Club whilst learning from a variety of high level coaches, providing injury assessments, massage therapy, rehabilitation and return to sport sessions with the athletes. He also has clinical experience treating a number of athletes and the general public at the St Mary’s University musculoskeletal clinic.
Joe has worked pitch side on a number of university Rugby, Football and Hockey games, providing treatment and immediate first aid to injured players. Saverio attained the ITEC Swedish massage with Anatomy and Physiology course at Morley College in London in 2000. Progressing on to FSMT Sports massage followed that a year later by gaining the ITEC Manual Lymphatic Drainage certificate at City Lit Islington. He has continued to improve his knowledge attending numerous courses including massage for pregnant women, No Hands Massage and Tsuboku Japanese face massage.
He has worked with American football teams, swimming galas, skaters, marathon runners at the London marathon and Iron men contestants.
